WHO ARE WE?
Our circuit is made up of 13 churches. We have two ministers, each with their own group of churches, and one superintendent who oversees everything that goes on within our circuit, as well as providing support to her own group of churches.
REVEREND RUTH JACKSON
Reverend Ruth Jackson is the head of our circuit, overseeing all ministers and their churches. Not a thing happens in the Rochdale and Littleborough Methodist Circuit without Reverend Ruth's knowledge.
Reverend Ruth Jackson says "It's a privilege to serve in this Circuit as Superintendent Minister. It is a lovely place to live and share in ministry with others".
Ruth ministers Greenhill, Spotland, St Andrew's and Wardle.
Reverend Helen Johnson is minister of four churched, serving across five communities that are each varied and different. Linking church with community work is very much what Helen enjoys and she loves presenting to schools or leading her successful community choir.
Helen is a Yorkshire girl serving in Lancashire, wife to Terry and mother to Marie, Laura, David and Megan. Helen is also a proud Granny of three. She is a keen piano player, loves cooking, knitting, sewing, reading and socialising!
Helen is minister for Norden, Smithy Bridge, Syke and Thrum Hall.
Reverend Andy Holstead is a Methodist minister who has served in Littleborough, Wigan, Oldham, Macclesfield and Morley. Andrew has also served as a full-time chaplain at St Catherine's Hospice in Preston.
