OUR CALLING
As a member of the Methodist Church we are called to:
We worship within our local church and personal prayer, and we regularly share through Holy Communion and
WORSHIP
Through bible study and fellowship meetings, we grow in faith and support others in discipleship.
LEARNING AND CARING
We aim to be a good neighbour in the community, challenge injustice and support the Church in its mission in the world.
SERVICE
We work out out faith in daily life and aim to share Christ with others.
EVANGELISM
WE ARE A DISTRICT THAT:

accepts the centrality of local mission and ministry

encourages collaborative and accountable patterns of work

attempts to unify the Church while rejoicing in diversity

minimises bureaucracy whilst providing support

gives thanks for the 11 Methodist and Anglican/Methodist schools in our district

engages with Churches overseas with focus on mission projects in South Africa.
